Nursery furniture!

Our home was completely re-done to make space for Sparsh's new furniture. Never knew there will be a long list- carry basket, car seat, palna, rocker, pram, cot, hi-chair, walker, chair, etc.!

Mukhe-bhaat/ Munh-jhuti/Annaprashan

My lil boy was dressed as a bengali groom and had first taste of rice from his mama's (maternal uncle) hand.

Official indian citizen!

Sparsh got his passport today and he is now an official Indian citizen!

My Laddoo Gopal!

Sparsh's nani got krishna dress for him from Moradabad. Sparsh made lot of fuss about getting dressed but looked cuter than ever once done..muaaaah!

First visit to playground!

First Rakhi!

My little Sparsh received his first Rakhi from Sneha with a hand written wish. Sparsh went crazy about ghewar and halwa and was very excited about Rakhi!

Name calling!

Everybody has a special name for Sparsh. Some are more civilized like "Abhirup" given by his great grand mother and then there are the ones like-

• Chand ka tukda
• Motu ram pande
• New born pagal
• Julia Roberts (comes from gudiya)

...and above all he is our "Babboo"!

Learning to make chocolates ahead of time!

Mommy decided to learn how to make chocolates wel in advance before Sparsh starts demaning them. Papa took complete care of the lil one for the first time for 4 hours. The four hours included diaper changing (something that papa hates to do) and Khichdi-feeding..I heard Sparsh loved the khichdi with lil extra salt!

Can't believe how tiny he was!

It was time to fold and store loads of baby clothes which were too small for Sparsh now and I could not believe that he could fit into them just a few months back. They looked like doll dresses to me...aah..time flies!
